Strategy
Coaching
APC's LSAT®
Preparation Course is designed to
sharpen skills, develop critical and analytical thinking, and
eliminate test anxiety. Instruction consists of content
lectures, strategy presentations, practice exercises and
item-by-item analysis of answers. Algorithms are presented
to develop problem-solving ability. All classes are
conducted "live" with ample time for questions and discussion.
Diagnostic &
Practice Testing
Diagnostic pre-tests are given in
the first class session. Each student's strengths and
weaknesses are evaluated as an important first step in
identifying areas for improvement. Post-tests,
administered in the last class session, are used as a final
measure of gain. Throughout the course, students practice
on timed tests.
Small Classes
Our classes are limited in size (never
more than 12 students!) in order to ensure personalized
instruction by our caring, dedicated, and highly qualified
staff.
Expected
Improvement
Many students who have attended all
classes and fulfilled all homework requirements have raised
scores by as much as 25% or more on the post-test.
Computer Use
We have been using
computers in our computer laboratory for years to improve
our instruction for computer-adaptive tests (CATs).
Students practice taking full length tests on our computers, as
well.
