How to Apply
If you would like to register for our Intensive English Program or our Semi-Intensive English Program, please complete the application form below. You can also download our application form and mail or fax it in. Of course, you can also apply in person. Just come on by!

Applications will not be processed until the required fees have been received.

How to obtain an I-20 Form

If you are a new student applying for an F-1 Visa, please read the Information for F-1 students. Please make sure to request the "I-20 Form" when you complete the registration. Once we receive the $50 registration fee and a bank statement or letter from your bank, we will issue the  I-20 form. We cannot send the I-20 form until we receive your bank statement and the application fee. If you have a sponsor, please see the sponsor information below. If your visa is denied, ILI will not refund the application fee. The I-20 form can be picked up in person at ILI, it can be airmailed for free to your country, or we can use express mail or courier service for an extra charge to send it to you.

Please remember, the I-20 Form will not be issued to those applying to our Semi-Intensive Program.

Financial Responsibility
It is very important to note that U.S. law forbids our acceptance of applicants who do not have sufficient funds to study at ILI without the necessity to work. In order to comply with immigration regulations, the applicant must present evidence showing that sufficient funds are available when applying for the Student Visa (I-20 Form). A current (less than 3 month old) personal bank statement or a letter from your bank is acceptable.
Sponsor Information (if you are not paying for your studies)
Sponsors living outside the United States will need to send, email or fax a bank statement. The sponsor must also submit a letter stating his or her intention to sponsor the student.

Sponsors living in the United States will need to submit an affidavit of support along with the bank statement.

After you receive our I-20, you will need to go to the US Embassy or Consulate in your country to obtain the F-1 Visa. read more

Method of Payment
   We accept cash, personal checks drawn on a U.S. bank, traveler's checks, money orders, Western Union, and credit cards. If you wish to pay by credit card via our secure website, please send your credit card number, including the expiration date, the security code and the billing address. If you wish to pay by wire, please contact us for wiring instructions. We do not accept foreign checks or foreign debit cards.

Payment Policy

  The application fee is due at time of enrollment and non-refundable unless we are unable to place the student. Tuition is due the first day of class, a late fee of $15 per week will be charged for any tuition more than 3 days late. Students with open balances are not allowed to re-enroll until all balances have been paid.

Refund Policy Acknowledgement:*

I agree to Transemantics/ILI's refund policy: All fees are non-refundable. Once received by the student, books and other materials sales are final. If a course is cancelled by Transemantics/ILI, a full refund will be given. Cancellation by the student prior to commencement of class, will result in the forfeiture of the application fee or any other fees; but not the tuition. In the event of early withdrawal after the commencement of classes, but prior to completion, the prorated portion of the unexpended tuition will be refunded. Any portion of a week in attendance will be considered a full week of attendance. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receipt of written notification from the student.
