Coffee Hour

A coffee hour is held the first week of every new cycle. This gives students the opportunity to meet and speak with one another while enjoying a variety of cakes, cookies, hot drinks and soda.

Computer Lab & Wi-Fi

Students may use the computer lab from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday to work or access the Internet. We also offer Wi-Fi access on our 4th floor close to the student lounge. No password is required.

Facebook

ILI maintains a page on Facebook and posts upcoming events, pictures, reminders, and other news. Our Facebook page also helps students to stay connected with each other, during and after their stay at ILI. Follow us on Facebook!

Field Trips

At least once a week, students can go on field trips to museums, famous monuments and buildings, parks, festivals, sport events, restaurants, or historic neighborhoods.

Movies

Every other Tuesday, students get together in the student lounge to watch a movie. The movie selection ranges from classics to current releases. Snacks and drinks are provided.

 

Parties

ILI has a Valentine’s Day party, a Halloween party, and a Winter Holiday party every year. On these special occasions, students decorate the student lounge and the classrooms. For Halloween, students and teachers wear costumes and for Christmas they decorate the ILI Christmas tree.

Sports Activities

During the summer season, ILI organizes sports and other outdoor activities. These range from soccer and basketball to biking, canoeing, and hiking. During the winter season, ice skating has become are very popular student activity.
