Excellent Teachers
| |
"The teachers at ILI are not only our teachers,
they are also our friends. This is important
to our learning. They teach smiling and
joking as well as grammar and vocabulary.
When you like a teacher, you like the classes,
and you learn faster."
Vivanne Siquierra, Brazil |

Affordable
| |
The cost for 1 week of ILI's
Intensive English Program in Washington DC starts at
$180 for 25 hours of instruction. That is very
affordable and well below other intensive English programs.
Our semi-intensive English evening program is $260 per
4 weeks and our semi-intensive English Saturday program is
$160 for 4 weeks. |

Lot's of Sightseeing
| |
"Since coming to the U.S., I have become
fascinated with the extraordinary monuments and
museums of Washington DC They teach us history
and tell us about America in ways that textbooks
cannot. Also, now I am motivated to learn about theatre
and art-- something which never interested me before.
There are so many opportunities here in Washington
DC . I would need more than a million words to
explain all that I feel...."

Multi-Level Curriculum
| |
"There are twelve class levels at ILI. Each
class stresses different skills. You are better
able to improve your English this way, because
you are placed in a class which fits your language
abilities. "

"I have been a student at ILI for only two weeks. I
am taking the TOEFL Preparation Class. Already, in this
short time, my TOEFL score has increased over 50 points.
I am so impressed by these results! I have a good feeling
about ILI. I believe that ILI will be the key to my
success in entering graduate school next fall."

Interesting Field Trips
| |
"My favorite field trip is to the National Zoo,
which is part of the Smithsonian Institution.
The Smithsonian has many different things to
see -- and it is all free! At the National Zoo, you
can watch many different kinds of animals --
pandas, and elephants and exotic types of birds.
It is located in Rock Creek Park, where there
are countless trees and ponds and bicycle paths.
It is very close to the metro station, too, so it is
easy to find. This zoo is bigger than my
country's biggest zoo. I love it!"

Fun Student Activities
| |
"At ILI, we are all friends. I think it is very
very good, because you don't feel alone here. ILI
has many parties so the students can get to know
one another outside the classroom. We talk,
drink coffee, eat cakes, play music
and dance the dances of our countries. You
meet people from all over the world. It is
really cool!"
